The UNT Bus Shuttle is a Denton County Transportation Authority [DCTA] service offered in partnership with University of North Texas to provide direct shuttle route services to-and-from the main campus, Discovery Park campus and off campus student living housing in Denton. Era Apartment Homes is serviced daily by several campus circular routes – Due to road construction at Union Circle, routes for the 2025 Fall semester and will resume it’s original route in Spring 2026. UNT Shuttle route service to the Discovery Park Campus is available via Discover Park DP141 [Weekdays & Saturdays].

Our goal at Era Apartment Homes is to make sure we accommodate and foresee your transportation needs while living with us off-campus. Though we are a UNT Transportation and DCTA Connect Bus partner with daily and nightly shuttle bus service to our community, many of our residents prefer driving to UNT’s Main or Discovery Park campuses. All motor vehicles must be registered and students are required to purchase a parking permit to utilize all designated student parking lots at both campuses. There are a variety of parking permit options available at the University of North Texas.
There is no need to register in person at the UNT Transportation Office for your student vehicle parking permit,… just follow the Parking Portal link below and register for your student parking permit:
