[ Built in 1946 ] Bruce Hall is located on the NE corner of Avenue C and Chestnut St. and is arguably the most character-rich hall within UNT Housing's inventory. A standard level priced hall that houses residents of the classification and majors. Due to its close proximity to the Voertman's Music Building, Bruce Hall cultivates a creative environment for all its residents. It is also home to the Jazz Studies and Music Living Learning Communities. Bruce Hall is the oldest residence hall on-campus and boasts a history that includes a handful of famous ex-residents, such as Norah Jones and the Eagles' Don Henley. 2024-2025 MEAL PLAN REQUIREMENT:
All freshman students living on-campus are required to select from one of the Meal Plans >. Upperclassmen residing in Honors, Legends, Mozart Square and Traditions have an expanded list of meal plan options available during the application process. There are 6 Dining Hall Locations and unique dining experiences on the main campus and one dining facility at The Discover Park satellite campus. The University of North Texas also offer Retail Restaurants in the University Union and throughout the campus community. Dining Flex Dollars are for use at on-campus retail locations only. Unused Flex Dollars forfeit at the end of each semester. Remaining balances do not carry over. Details >

Sink Basins & Vanity Area are in a shared space within the bathroom
UNT Custodial Staff on week days and supplied with paper products for residents use
