    Spring 2026 / Effective January 12, 2026

    The UNT Shuttle Bus Service is a Denton County Transportation Authority [DCTA] service offered in partnership with University of North Texas to provide direct shuttle route services to-and-from the main campus, Discovery Park campus and off campus student living housing in Denton. Viridian Denton Student Living Community is serviced daily by the primary shuttle route Bernard Street BST161. Shuttle service to Discovery Park Campus is available via bus transfer to route DP141 [Weekdays & Saturdays] On Union Circle at the University Union Main Terminal – Stop 1. The UNT Shuttle Bus Service as well as, the DCTA Connect Bus Service is FREE to all students, faculty and staff at the University of North Texas.

    IMPORTANT NOTICE: Due to numerous street construction projects near and around the University of North Texas, short-term alternative shuttle bus routes may be configured during the 2026 Spring Semester.

    Our goal at Viridian Denton Student Living is to make sure we accommodate and foresee your student transportation needs while living with us off-campus. Though we are a UNT Transportation partner and the university provides daily and nightly shuttle bus service to our community, many of our residents prefer driving to UNT’s Main or Discovery Park campuses. All motor vehicles must be registered and a student is required to purchase a parking permit to utilize all designated student parking lots at both campuses. There are a variety of parking permits available at the University of North Texas.

    There is no need to register in person at the UNT Transportation Office for your student vehicle parking permit,… just follow the Parking Portal link below and register now for your student parking permit:
