The UNT Campus Shuttle is a Denton County Transportation Authority [DCTA] service offered in partnership with University of North Texas [UNT] to provide direct shuttle route services to the main campus, Discovery Park campus and off campus student living housing in Denton. NTX Denton is serviced by the Daugherty Street DS181 Route and the Evening Off Campus EOC196A Route. And you’re just a bus transfer away to Discovery Park Campus via UNT Shuttle Routes DS141, DP143 [weekends] and DP149 Express at the University Union.

Our goal at NTX Denton Student Living is to make sure we accommodate and foresee your transportation needs while living with us off-campus. Though we are a UNT Transportation partner and the university provides daily and nightly shuttle bus service to our community, many of our residents prefer driving to UNT’s Main or Discovery Park campuses. All motor vehicles must be registered and a student is required to purchase a parking permit to utilize all designated student parking lots at both campuses. There are a variety of parking permits available at the University of North Texas.

If your intention is to bike to campus, there are plenty of bike lanes and park-racks provided by the university that are conveniently located throughout campus to ensure your student biking experience is both safe and time efficient. Riders do not need to register their bikes and park-racks are free. UNT Transportation recommends locking your bike! The University is not liable for damaged or stolen bikes. If you are in need of maintenance or have a mechanical problems with your bike, Transportation Service provides student cyclists access to the UNT Mobile Bike Shop >
